What to Expect

When you come and visit you can expect to see a simple worship service according to the New Testament church. There are no assigned seats. Feel free to sit anywhere you like. You will be asked to fill out a "connection card" so that we can thank you for coming to be with us. Here's what you can expect during our worship:

The whole congregation enthusiastically lifts their voices up in praise to God without the use of mechanical instruments. We sing a capella according to the pattern of the New Testament church (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). We sing new songs and old songs. The words to the songs are available on the screen in the front in case you are unfamiliar with the song. We encourage everyone to sing.

When we assemble together various men of the congregation will lead us in prayer to God and offer thanksgiving and petition Him for needs we may have (1 Timothy 2:1-6).

Lord's Supper

Every first day of the week we partake in the memorial supper of our Lord's death (Acts 20:7). Before we partake of the Lord's Supper various men will read a portion of Scripture to help direct our minds on the sacrifice of Jesus. We sit quietly for a few minutes as we examine ourselves and remember the great love shown for us on the cross.

On Sundays a sermon will be preached by Roger or Zack. Each sermon is centered around the Word of God and is made applicable to daily life. We encourage everyone to follow along in their Bibles.

Typically, following the Lord's Supper, each member of the congregation has the opportunity to give back to the Lord to meet the needs of the church (1 Corinthians 16:1-2). As a guest, you will not be asked to participate.
